python Workshop
Participants in the python workshop (Sat. 3:00 - 3:45 pm, Sun. 10:30 - 11:15 am) will have the option to choose between three different tutorials:
- a basic introduction to python, which includes numpy arrays and plotting,
- an intermediate tutorial introducing you to numerically solving differential equations, or
- an advanced tutorial explorating of non-inertial reference frames in python with a focus on plotting and animation
Notebooks for each of these options are available by following the hyperlinks above.
Sessions are taught in python 3.9 using jupyter notebook. Participants are encouraged to install python via the Anaconda distribution before attending; a small number of laptops with python pre-installed will be available on-site.
